Broadcast 226 (Special Edition)

Pat Bahn, CEO of TGV Rockets, Inc., returned as a guest for this Space Show program. Mr. Bahn updated us on the activities of his company and why he moved it to Norman, Oklahoma as he prepares to begin operations by 2007 as a suborbital launch company. He explained the advantages of being associated with the Oklahoma Spaceport Authority, its financing, and range facilities for vertical launches. Mr. Bahn also discussed space ports in general as many states are building them as well as creating spaceport authority zones for economic development.

Dayna Steele Justiz was the guest on this Space Show program. Ms. Justiz talked about "selling NASA," that is NASA doing a better job of promoting its people, activities, plans, operations, etc. for developing space commerce, science, exploration and more. She spoke about how NASA seems controlled by the Public Affairs Office (PAO) which prevents the type of marketing that NASA should be doing and that even astronauts and others inside NASA want to do.

Virgiliu Pop, a well-known European attorney specializing in space property rights, was the guest on The Space Show for this program. One of the hot topics discussed at length on this show was the sale of extraterrestrial real estate such as property on the Moon, Mars, and throughout our solar system. Several companies do this around the world. Mr. Pop outlined the legal issues that in his opinion make the sale of this real estate OK for novelty purposes but illegal were one to consider it a legitimate, legal, and binding deed to a piece of real estate on the Moon or elsewhere in space.

Dennis Hope, CEO of The Lunar Embassy and Acting President of the Galactic Government, returned to The Space Show. Mr. Hope discussed the origin of his business for selling ownership of lots on the Moon, Mars, Ios, and elsewhere in our solar system. He explained why he believes this is legal, the process his company has gone through and continues to go through to assure legality. Dr. Greene talked with Space Show listeners about developments and advances in theoretical physics. Dr. Greene was asked to apply the knowledge of theoretical physics to practical applications in becoming space-faring and developing our space resources. His response to this line of questioning was most honest and interesting. In addition, we drew upon Mr. Zimmerman's vast knowlege and expertise about the former Soviet and now Russian space program and examined their contributions to space development, exploration and our global efforts to become space-faring. Mr. Chase told us about the work both of these organizations are doing to further the newly proposed presidential space policy initiative for returning to the Moon and going on to Mars and more. We learned how these organizations work behind the scenes and up front to facilitate the implementation of this policy. Mr.

Marianne Dyson, a former NASA Mission Controller working the first five space shuttle flights, was the guest on this Space Show program. Ms. Dyson discussed her experiences as a Mission Controller and shared with us some of her most memorable events with the first five space shuttle flights on which she worked. Ms. Dyson also went into detail about much of the engineering and science associated with the International Space Station (ISS), its importance, its uses, and more.

Tom Olson, the CEO and co-founder of The Colony Fund, was the guest on The Space Show for this program as the scheduled guest was unavailable at the time of the show. Mr. Olson updated on the status and progress being made with The Colony Fund, a proposed $500 million public mutual fund with a targeted focus on making space industry investments. The Colony Fund is progressing nicely in its legal and management proceedings to be able to solicit its start-up capital and its needed SEC public registration. We will be hearing more from Mr.
