Barbara Marx Hubbard was the guest on The Space Show for this special program. We discussed space development and becoming space-faring in the context of conscious evolution as an emerging state of development for the betterment of humanity. Dr. Jim Pass was the guest for today's Space Show. Dr. Pass, through his website www.astrosociology.com, is promoting the development of the field astrosociology for space development. As this subject is new to most of us, Dr. Pass began the interview with an in-depth explanation what astrosociology is about, its origin, and most importantly, its significance for our space development program, both public and private. Dr.

Nathan Horsley was the guest for this particular Space Show program. We discussed many legal issues pertaining to space tourism, launch vehicles, and space development. We explored the very nature of informed consent and how it might hold up in a legal action to protect a company using it for space flight participants. We also discussed if informed consent would be sufficient protection or if companies should plan on going to additional layers of protection for possible legal claims against their company should accidents or problem occur. Sy Liebergot returned to The Space Show for this program to discuss his book, "Apollo EECom: Journey of a Lifetime" as well as timely topics regarding space development. Among the topics discussed was the International Space Station (ISS), the Space Exploration Vision program, the new NASA Administrator, Congress, budgets, and the NASA culture. Return to flight was discussed as was the CEV, heavy lift, and the time table for getting back to the Moon and going on to Mars. Mr. Liebergot was not optimistic about realizing the new vision and you will want to hear his reasoning.

Professor Joanne Gabrynowicz returned to the program to give us a legal update on important matters influencing space development, space commerce and our road toward becoming space-faring. We began our discussion with a legal discussion of the concepts introduced in HR 5382. We explored what the term "informed consent" means as well as many aspects of this pending legislation and its impact upon the regulatory environment.

Sylvia Engdahl returned to The Space Show for this program to discuss the importance of becoming space-faring in light of new developments regarding space development, the President's space policy initiative to return to the Moon and go forward to Mars, the success of the Mars rovers, and our current political and economic situation in the United States. We spoke extensively about Wernher von Braun and his Rocket Team, their work in Germany, their coming to the United States, and how they developed our space program. Mr. Ordway also discussed the space development and exploration visions for the future that von Braun is known for, and suggested solid reasons why as a nation we did not move forward to make those visions our nations reality, especially sending humans to Mars, staying on the Moon, lunar settlements, and more. Sam Burbank, science writer and documentary filmmaker was the guest for this edition of The Space Show. Mr. Burbank discussed the making of space documentary films, National Geographic, and the importance of space development. We also talked about the importance of Mars Analog sites here on Earth, why the Earth is actually a better training ground for going to Mars than the Moon, and why going to Mars with humans has little to do with first going back to the Moon with humans, which is also very important.
