Guest: Dr. Bruno Stanek. Topics: How the Swiss and Europeans view new US space policy proposals. Dr. Bruno Stanek returned as our guest to share his perspectives and what is reported in the Swiss and some of the European media regarding America's proposed space policy and Program of Record in this nearly two hour program. In our first segment, Dr. Stanek talked about the Swiss media and reports that America was killing the human spaceflight program. He said too many people see us as doing nothing. This change in perspective has shocked many people.

Broadcast 1202 (Special Edition)

Guest: Leonard Johnson. Topics: Team America Rocketry, NASA, high powered rocketry, STEM education. Our guest for this Space Show program was Lt. Leonard Johnson who, as an Illinois fire-fighter and paramedic, responded to the 9/11 Ground Zero and Katrina tragedies. We started off segment 1 by asking Len for his thoughts, perceptions, and experiences in working at Ground Zero and then in helping out with the Katrina tragedy. I believe you will find the sharing of his experiences and perceptions with us to be instructive, valuable, moving, and important.

Broadcast 1188 (Special Edition)

Guest: Maria Catalina. Topics: The Astronaut Teacher Alliance, Atacama Desert in Chile, Teachers in Space, inspiring and motivating students. Maria Catalina was our guest for this Space Show program to discuss The Astronaut Teacher Alliance (TATA), Teachers in Space, and some of the exciting projects TATA is developing with teachers, and students of Chile near the Atacama Desert. This is the program to listen to if you want to know how to reach students, inspire and motivate them, and even get them to respect their teachers, and actually pay attention.

Broadcast 1151 (Special Edition)

Guests: Michael Leventhal, David Hosley. Topics: Space Investment Summit #6 (SIS-6), space hospitality, space tourism. Our guests started out introducing us to the SIS program and in particular, SIS-6 with its new panel format and specific focus on space hospitality, tourism, and entertainment. Both Michael and Dave described the panels and this new format in detail and to me, it appears to be a real winner. Check it out.
