John Vornle of Long Term Capital was our guest for this program to discuss private space business capital acquisition models using space based solar energy. Broadcast 1060 (Special Edition)

Guest: Jerry Carr was the guest for this Space Show program. The basis for our discussion was his biography published by Apogee, "Around The World in 84 Days: The Authorized Biography of Skylab Astronaut Jerry Carr." The author for this authorized biography was David Shayler. Naturally, much of our discussion focused on Skylab and his mission, Skylab 4. One of the early discussion topics was the Skylab 4 workload strike which has become notorious. Jerry explained it in detail and how it got blown out of proportion by a journalist. You will definitely want to hear this discussion.

Broadcast 936 (Special Edition)

Guests: Dr. Jim Wertz of Microcosm, Inc., Dr. Shahzad Khaligh, The Boeing Company, Rex Ridenoure, Ecliptic Ecliptic Enterprises Corporation, Dr. Robert Taylor of CTD, Mike Tupper of CTD, Jane Hansen of HRP Systems, Inc. Recorded live at the Westin Hotel in Los Angeles, this Space Show program focused on Operationally Responsive Space (ORS) and its related topics. We started out by asking our audience to provide a report card on progress made with ORS since the last conference a year ago. Dr. Wertz and others gave us a report that you will want to hear.

Broadcast 919 (Special Edition)

Guest: General James B. Armor, USAF (Ret) was the guest for this program. General Armor discussed his policy recommendation that now is the time to create a special Space Corps within the Air Force. This position is explained in detail in Astropolitics, Volume 5, Issue 3, September 2007, pages 273-288, in his article entitled "It is Time to Create a United States Air Force Space Corps." I highly recommend that you read this article as it's excellent and Gen.

Broadcast 917 (Special Edition)

Guest: Dr. Robert Conger was the guest for this Space Show program to discuss the upcoming Responsive Space Conference, April 28-May 1, 2008 at the LAX Westin Hotel, Los Angeles, California. Dr. Conger started out with a definition and explanation for the term "responsive space", then later he did the same for operationally responsive space.

Broadcast 906 (Special Edition)

Dr. Eligar Sadeh returned to The Space Show to update us on the recent National Space Forum which was held in Washington, DC. in early February 2008. Dr. Sadeh summarized most of the panels and presentations at the Forum, so we addressed U.S. space policy for the upcoming administration, U.S. space leadership and its effectiveness, space commerce, and civil space. It was brought to his attention that many attending the Forum were disappointed that NewSpace / alt.space were not a significant focus of any of the Forums. You will want to listen to this discussion and Dr.
