John Rose

John has over 15 yrs of experience working in a variety of technical and managerial activities including aircraft design and certification, supporting space shuttle and ISS operations, and proprietary programs. He has also supported Boeing corporate activities include engineering liaison for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), India Industry Team, and the Import Compliance and Process team. While part of Boeing Defense, Space and security he managed the loads and dynamics group, supporting Boeing Commercial Aircraft on certification of winglets on various 767 platforms. His group also supported the USAF tanker proposal as well as other key projects. He has also supported several proposals, technology demonstration programs, and special projects. John leads Business Operations and several productivity improvement projects for the Knowledge Management effort, a Boeing wide initiative. John is also a member of AIAA’s Public Policy Committee where he is the chairman of its National Security subcommittee. He is also the Deputy Director of Public Policy for AIAA’s region 6 (the 9 western states) and is an active member on the Orange County council. He holds a BS and MS in Aerospace Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona as well as an MBA from USC. He was recently selected as an Associate Fellow by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
