Linn LeBlanc

Linn LeBlanc has witnessed, first-hand almost every space shuttle launched from KSC for the past twenty-seven years. LeBlanc obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Central Florida. She immediately launched her career at the KSC Visitor Complex holding several positions in marketing, and later accepted a position with the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame as their Marketing Manager. In 2000, LeBlanc joined the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, a non profit organization founded by the Mercury 7 astronauts, and currently serves as its Executive Director. LeBlanc is known in the community for launching first-class events, such as the annual U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame Induction Gala, and brining high-profile astronauts and celebrities to the Space Coast to promote the Foundation's mission of promoting space exploration and providing scholarships for the best and the brightest science and engineering students in America. LeBlanc was recently awarded NASA's Distinguished Public Service Medal, the highest honor bestowed by NASA to non-government employees, for her distinguished accomplishments which contributed substantially to the NASA mission.
