Dr. Alan Binder, the Director and Founder of the Lunar Research Institute in Tucson, AZ and a Lunar and Planetary Scientist, was the guest on this edition of The Space Show. Dr. Binder began his discussion by explaining his Lunar Prospector Mission, how it worked, what it discovered, what it was like working with NASA to make it happen. He also explains why this project and its discoveries are important and applicable today in light of President Bush's space policy initiative to return to the Moon to stay.
