Broadcast 1059 (Special Edition)

Guest: Dr. Barrett Caldwell was the guest for this special Space Show program. We started our discussion by asking him about Space Grant Indiana and the national NASA space grant program, such as the projects and scholarships that Space Grant funds. This is a very informative discussion and it is applicable to Space Grant in other states as well though we did discuss specific Indiana programs. Clearly, there are advantages for students to associate with a Space Grant program, listen and you will understand why I say this.

Broadcast 1028 (Special Edition)

Guests: Bev Fetter, Matt Allner, Nate Ambler, and North Dakota State Senator Ray Holmberg were our guests today live from Glasgow, Scotland reporting back to us from the IAF 2008 conference sponsored by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF). We began our discussion with Matt who talked about his two presentations regarding space psychology research and spaceship crew performance. Note who collaborated with him on these studies as he describes them both and his presentations.

Broadcast 983 (Special Edition)

Guest: Dr. Pat Patterson returned to The Space Show to discuss this year's SmallSat conference from August 11-14 in Logan, Utah (www.smallsat.org). Dr. Patterson started out with a general description of the conference and provided us with an update with what is new from last year's conference. We then addressed the programming, specifically the keynote speak from ATK Systems, plus the panels, the audience participation programs, the award opportunities for students and much more.
