Declan O'Donnell was the special guest for the Monday night, March 12 and replay program on Tuesday, March 13th. We started the discussion with an overview look on the legal case of space friend and benefactor, Walt Anderson. During the first segment of the show, we discussed Walt's situation in general, how the IRS and the government prosecutes such cases, some of the laws involved, and various scenarios that might apply to Walt.

Declan O'Donnell, returning Space Show guest and noted attorney in the Denver, Colorado area, updates us on his space governance program with United Societies in Space (USIS). In addition, Mr. O'Donnell reported on some of the activities at the National Space Society annual meeting last week in Oklahoma City which motivated him to develop an action plan to make sure space is on the political agenda in this year's presidential election and within the political parties.

Declan O'Donnell is a noted attorney specializing in the law of outer-space as well as tax and securities litigation. During this program, we discuss space policy from the legal perspective, the United Nations space treaties and their relationship to outer space commerce. We also look at other factors influencing the development of space commerce and Mr. O'Donnell offers suggestions for how best to move forward in developing a commercial space economy through creative policy changes coupled with effective programs and the United Societies in Space (USIS).
