Dr. George Robinson was the special guest for this Space Show program. We began the interview talking about space commerce and issues of concern for start-up businesses. Dr. Robinson focused in on protecting intellectual property (IP), even from government workers in specific agencies. This is a must discussion as IP may be the determining value asset for the start-up for investors. We also talked at length about space property rights, even who owns the Moon. We talked in detail about the Outer Space Treaty (OST) and learned that the treaty provisions are not-self-executing.

Dr. Bob Krone, Dr. Ken Cox and Langdon Morris were the special guests for this program to discuss their newly published book, "Beyond Earth: The Future of Humans In Space." Each guest provided listeners with information on not only their chapters in the book but the chapters of authors as well, plus we talked about the importance of space, making sure people know about space, its meaning and purpose, space commerce and much much more. Monte Davis was the guest on this Space Show program. Mr. Davis explained the need for markets and demand for developing space commerce and compared the national imperative of the Apollo era to what we have today in the space field. He discussed the realities of chemical rockets, what to expect from them in the future, and how he believes we should focus our energies to enhance the possibilities for being successful in some of the forthcoming private space ventures, including space tourism. Professor Joanne Gabrynowicz returned to the program to give us a legal update on important matters influencing space development, space commerce and our road toward becoming space-faring. We began our discussion with a legal discussion of the concepts introduced in HR 5382. We explored what the term "informed consent" means as well as many aspects of this pending legislation and its impact upon the regulatory environment.

Dayna Steele Justiz was the guest on this Space Show program. Ms. Justiz talked about "selling NASA," that is NASA doing a better job of promoting its people, activities, plans, operations, etc. for developing space commerce, science, exploration and more. She spoke about how NASA seems controlled by the Public Affairs Office (PAO) which prevents the type of marketing that NASA should be doing and that even astronauts and others inside NASA want to do.

Walt Anderson, noted space commerce financier, company executive, and businessman, was the guest on this Space Show edition. Mr. Anderson explained how he derived his interest in space and later on his passion for space commerce and investing. Mr. Anderson described many of his space investments and explained why he chose to participate in these companies and in what capacity. Mr. Anderson also shared with Space Show listeners the story of the demise of the Mir Space Station and his efforts to save it through the company he helped create, MirCorp.

Gene Kranz, former NASA Mission Control Flight Director during the Apollo program was the guest for this program. During this interview, we discussed his experiences with NASA during Project Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo, NASA, Columbia, the future of the space program, space commerce and the private sector in space, and space development. Mr. Kranz outlines his four part plan to make space a priority again and to lead us forward to becoming a space-faring society in a space-faring world.

Rand Simberg, a former project manager with Rockwell International, now publishes a weekly article with Fox News Online as well as maintaining a superb space policy weblog. During this program, Mr. Simberg discusses various aspects of space policy, the manned space flight program as maintained by NASA, the ISS, space commerce and space tourism, affordable space access by the private sector, and much more. Mr. Simberg is quite outspoken about what is needed for our nation to move forward in space development, including strong recommendations regarding government space policies and programs.

Jeff Greason, President and co-founder of XCOR Aerospace is the guest on this edition of The Space Show. XCOR is an award winning and leading company in the sub-orbital rocket business. During this program, we discuss the XCOR product line of rockets, sub-orbital flight and markets, space commerce, regulation, engineering, technology, and more.

Dr. Thomas Matula, an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Houston - Victoria, where he teaches in their MBA program, discusses new businesses strategies that have the potential to break through many of the existing commercial space barriers. We discuss space development banks, spaceports, the state of space education throughout the United States, space tourism, and space commerce in the aftermath of the Columbia shuttle accident. Dr. Matula offers suggestions for dealing with many of the existing problems facing the continued commercial development of space resources.
