Guests: Cathy Harper and Nino Polizzi were the guests for today's Space Show in order to discuss the upcoming DC-X Reunion which will take place in Alamogordo, New Mexico from August 17-18, 2008. During our discussion, Cathy not only talked about the upcoming event, registration and hotels, but we talked about the New Mexico Museum of Space History, educational outreach, and museum attractions.

Guests: Dennis Wingo for the first hour followed by Donald Beattie for the second hour. ________________________________________________________ Guest : Dennis Wingo was our guest for this session of the Space Show TV program. We started the interview with a discussion on lunar commerce and why Dennis and others believe we need to develop the Moon for the benefit of us all here on Earth. We also discussed extending he life of the ISS. Dennis repeated the need for frequent access to space and the ISS, identifying some important potential markets.

Guest : Charles Chafer, co-founder of Celestis and CEO of Space Services, Inc., returned for this Space Show program to discuss updates with Celestis. We talked about the new lunar space burial program as Celestis has formed agreements with two Google Lunar X-Prize teams, Odyssey Moon and the Astrobotic Team. There were many listener questions about both the lunar burial service as well as suborbital, orbital, deep space, and even a potential Martian and NEO burial service.

Guest : Andrew Thorpe, author of "The Commercial Space Station: Methods and Markets" was the guest for this Space Show program. We began our discussion with Andrew explaining why the current ISS is not the commercial space station he talks about in his book. You will want to hear this distinction. We then discussed a series of potential markets in space including microgravity, protein crystal growth, space tourism, and more.

Guest: Michael Potter, documentary film maker, was the guest for this show to talk with us about his new documentary film, "Orphans of Apollo: The Battle of the Mir & the New Space Revolution" (see www.orphansofapollo.com for more information). Mr. Potter told us the story of his documentary, the origin of the name "Orphans of Apollo," and we spoke at length about the cast of characters involved in working to buy the Mir Space Station from Russia for a commercial venture.

Guest: Christopher Stott. Chris Stott was the guest for this program. We began our discussion with Chris offering us an introduction to both space industry on the Isle of Man and the company he founded, ManSat. This discussion led us to more detailed discussions regarding space commerce, space education such as the International Space University, space law and treaties, property rights, and the potential impact on space law/property rights depending on which nation will be the first back to the Moon.

Paul Eckert, Tom Olson & Eva-Jane Lark were the guests for this Space Show program to discuss the recently held Space Investment Summit (http://www.spacecommerceroundtable.com/upcoming.html). This program focused on the Summit but also on space investment and space commerce. We noted many of the positive changes that have taken place over time, the quality of those attending this particular conference, speakers and presenters which can be found on the above referenced website, and the timing for such a summit.

Dr. Ken Cox and Bruce Pittman were the special guests for this Space Show program to discuss space commerce, the coming ATWG Conference just before ISDC and the ACES Entrepreneurial Space Summit at NASA Ames May 16-18, 2007. We began the discussion with Ken giving us the background information regarding the Aerospace Technology Working Group (ATWG) and the basics about their coming conference in Dallas from May 22-24, 2007. Dennis Wingo returned to the program to discuss the importance of space vision, politics, national security, and the politics of limitation and reduced technology. This program provides listeners with a thorough analysis of the importance of space in supporting the future of humanity. Its largely a big picture vision program though we did talk about specific projects and subjects. For example, Dennis explained why from his analysis, low cost access to LEO is not that important in furthering space commerce.

Mary Napier was the guest for this Space Show program. Ms. Napier provided us with a brief history of the biotech industry and how it got started, then we began discussing biotech and space commerce. During the program, Ms. Napier referenced several important criteria which can be applied to space commerce in general, not just the biotech industry.
