Dr. John Jurist returned to the Space Show to discuss entrepreneurial and start-up space businesses from the perspective of an experienced and sophisticated investor. Dr. Jurist, having invested in several space business ventures in recent years, shared with Space Show listeners his insights, perspectives and lessons learned from having been closely associated with many companies striving to build a successful space operating/business company. His views and comments might be surprising to many Space Show listeners. We also talked about the political winds blowing through the country from the Montana point of view regarding a new space policy and vision, returning to the Moon, and going on to Mars. Toward the end of the program, we had interesting questions regarding the use of space suits for the private sector and space tourism, as well what a person's regular doctor might be required to state for his or her patient to be medically approved to fly to space, even to suborbital space. As always, Dr. Jurist brings to the Space Show his medical, business, and investment expertise as applied to this new round of space start-up and entrepreneurial companies, to fields relating to space medicine and more. We look forward to his continued presence on the Space Show and his willingness to share with us how he sees and understands the world of developing space commerce.
