During both segments of our 1 hour 48 minute discussion, listeners phoned in and emailed their wish list for space development projects for 2015 and even beyond. During the first segment, Michael Listner started us off with a wish to see a space policy thinker type of website started to open and support a high level discussion on what our space policy should be. He did not know how to implement the idea but we talked about some possibilities and he suggested a few participants. Ideas are welcome. We next heard from Jon in New Jersey who wanted to see Dream Chaser continue on to success along with commercial crew. We talked about returning to the Moon and using the Moon as a stepping stone to Mars, plus various paths on the way to Mars. Chris from Wyoming called in and suggested peace between all sides on the SLS debate. We also talked about lowering launch and access to LEO costs and baby step methodology for getting to Mars. He also wanted to see strong support and growth for the private sector. John in Florida called with a wish list item of stopping throwing away the boosters. He said his extended wish was for ULA, Orbital and others to begin working on reusability. In the second segment, Andrew from Tucson called. We talked about Kitt Peake and his projects with Jeff that he has been working on that he wants to continue, including hardware demonstrationd. Doug called from S. California and wants to publish his Cis Lunar One paper & move forward on his conference or TED talk concept. He mentioned the need to spend less time posting on blogs and making more direct contact with leading space policy people. Tim called wanting to see full Falcon 9 reusability among other things. John from Ft. Worth called and said his wish list was for more SLS funding and to see a successful Falcon 9 first stage recovery landing on the barge. Rick sent in emails about fusion energy and more, all of which I read on air. Please post your comments/suggestions, and your own resolutions and your wish list on TSS blog above. If you want to contact any of today's participants, you can do so through me.
