Welcome to the first Open Lines show from the new Las Vegas location. After talking a bit more about our move, the new studio set up and related items, our first call resulted in a phone line glitch of my own doing. It was Robert calling from Ohio but it took several efforts for him to get through to us. In the meantime, we took the first caller, John Hunt from Ft. Worth. John talked about a recent edition of the Theory of Everything podcast, applied some of what he heard to the Woodward work, then he talked about getting a To The Stars founder on the show as a guest on the UAP matter given the upcoming congressional hearings on the subject starting in a few days.
Musk and Tesla were mentioned followed by a call form Fremont John about the gravity RX , 1/6 gravity on the Moon and the need for determining the gravity RX for human spaceflight. He also mentioned collaboration possibilities. John again suggested Dr. Will Kinney as a guest on the show. He is in the physics dept at the Univ of Buffalo with a book out that we will talk with about when he is on the show. John said that he has lots to say about what happened before the Big Bang. Will is the guest on the show Sunday, May 29.
Robert finally got his call in so we started discussing multiple topics. Such topics included the demise of the ISS due to Russia pulling out, the role of the private sector companies in space and national security given what has been going on in Ukraine plus multiple other topics mentioned in the tags for this program. Russia, China and the state of our economy were big topics for Robert. Toward the end of Robert's call, he advocated for space mining, talked about a possible asteroid impact and challenges with public awareness of many things. Agriculture in space was an additional topic.
Ft. Worth John called back to reference something about an earlier nuke comment which he associated with Ukraine. We heard from Dr. Doug about the Musk Mars plans and timeline along with his comments on risk taking.
