John Batchelor and I welcomed Keri Kukral for a single segment Hotel Mars program to talk about the Raw Science Film Festival. John asked Keri about her interest in science fiction and science. He also asked about two film trailers which he saw on the Raw Science Film website, www.rawscience.tv. The two trailers were for the films Seat 25 and Passage To Mars. Since I was at the film festival and saw both films, I will talk about them on the next Space Show OL program set for Tuesday evening, Dec. 27. Both were outstanding. I asked Keri about the film festival becoming part of the Academy Awards network. She said two more years were required, then their film winners could be entered into the Short and Animation categories and maybe some other categories. We also talked about the speakers at this year's award ceremony. You can see the list of top speakers at the same Raw Science URL per above. Keri said that it will be possible to see the films starting next week with instructions on the Raw Science website.
