Welcome to our Open Lines discussion program.  For the first segment of our nearly two hour program, we took a call from Jeff in Tucson who wanted to talk about Orbital ATK, next generation launchers, SRBs, public private partnerships, the USAF as an anchor customer, NASA and more.  We spent a good part of the first segment of the program discussion focusing on what Jeff had to share with us.

Michael Listner called after Jeff. We talked about his new newsletter The Precis, www.spacelawsolutions.com/the-pr-cis-.html.  Michael talked about Moon Express, the license to send a payload to the Moon recently obtained from the FAA, the legal concept of payload review and the possibility that it may change to mission authorization review which Michael explained would be better for the industry.  He also talked about the special license that Virgin Galactic got from the FAA that now allows them to earn revenue from cargo flights, not spaceflight participant flights.

In the second segment, John from Ft. Worth called to talk about Dr. Brandenburg's GEM Unification Theory and physics.  This was an interesting discussion, technical at times, but worth it.  John ordered Dr. Brandenburg's book and intends to run the numbers with his equations.  He will report back to us what he finds out but this is all most interesting.

Our next call came from John in Freemont. He mentioned a joint project with Moon Express and Celestis plus he wants to see us do a fission fusion power show with Dr. Brandenburg.  I will see if I can make that happened given Dr. Brandenburg said he was interested in the topic and such a show.  Before the program ended, I went over upcoming Space Show guests, highlighting some of the very special programs now on the schedule.

Please post your comments/questions on The Space Show blog for this archived program.  You can contact any of the callers or emailers though me.
