John Batchelor and I welcomed back Dr. Jeff Foust to discuss the future of the ISS given the Russian invasion of Ukraine. We talked international cooperation declining, Jeff's post in The Space Review this week, private space stations, geopolitics in space, China, LEO, and the possible use of Dragon or similar to continue boosting and maintaining the ISS in orbit if Russia pulls out around 2022. We also talked about the return of the American astronaut on the ISS at this time, planning to return on the Soyuz in a few weeks.
