The year 2020 is almost over. Tuesday night, Dec. 29, 2020, The Space Show broadcast our final program of the year. We resume live show broadcasts on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021. During the final days of this year, we are still asking for your financial support so we can be strong in our advocacy for space for all of 2021. So that we can be strong in the face of the challenges we are sure to confront in the coming year. In this year's earlier fund raising messages, I spelled out the many reasons why one might financially support The Space Show so I won't repeat what was previously said. However, the reasons I cited for supporting The Space Show this year are still valid as we approach the end of a year like none other. If you have not already made a contribution to The Space Show, I urge you to do so. Remember, The Space Show through the One Giant Leap Foundation is a 501C3 nonprofit organization. This is important if want to claim the tax deduction for charitable giving for this year as explained below. To donate, just use the Pay Pal button at the top of our home page, www.thespaceshow.com.
For those of you contributing to The Space Show wanting the tax deductions that come with donating to a nonprofit organization such as One Giant Leap Foundation/The Space Show, please use the Pay Pal button at the top of our home page, www.thespaceshow.com. As long as you contribute by Dec. 31, your contribution will count for a 2020 tax deduction with the IRS and for California if you pay California taxes. If the tax deduction is not so the important to you and you want to donate via the mail (old school), please make your check payable to the One Giant Leap Foundation and mail in care of me to P.O. Box 95, Tiburon, CA. 94920. Either way, we still need and ask for your support. Help us continue pro-space and commercial space programming for the coming year.
I want to thank all of you have been donating and supporting The Space Show, not just in this year's campaign but for the past 19 years. Your support has been essential in our continuing with our programs, guests, callers, and blog. On a personal note, I offer all of you my deepest appreciation and all my thanks for your friendship, support and your love of space.
