A Sad Special Announcement - the passing of Dr. Jeff Bell

My friends, our well known and beloved Space Show guest and friend, Dr. Jeff Bell, passed away last week after a strong fight and lenghty illness with pancreatic cancer. The last time Jeff was a guest, he described his fight on air. I met him last fall in The Bay Area and he was in pretty good shape but that did not last. I talked with Jeff a few days before he left us. He was his usual sharp and observant self. The Space Show will miss him and I will miss a great friend.

Rest well my friend. If you can find a way to call into the show from your cosmic voyage through the universe, please do so. You will always be welcome on The Space Show.

Please note that all Space Show programs for the rest of March 2020 are dedicated to the memory of Dr. Jeff Bell.

When you see Wednesday or Thursday program options, it is because of my travel schedule and I am adding in special shows at the time chosen by the guest. The John Batchelor Hotel Mars segment is always Wednesday, 6:30-6:45 PM Pacific Time. All Hotel Mars shows are archived as Space Show programs.
