Our 2016 Annual Space Show/One Giant Leap Foundation Fundraising Drive Is Drawing To A Close - Please Support Us Now
Dear Space Show Listeners:
The year 2016 has almost ended. So has The Space Show/One Giant Leap Foundation's annual 2016 fundraising campaign. With just six days left in the year, there is still time for you to support The Space Show for 2016. The Space Show is completely listener supported so your support is essential for our continuation. If you like The Space Show, support us. Our appeal is simple: If you like and value The Space Show, please help support us by contributing to our campaign.
As a reminder, The Space Show never take fees from guests to be on the program, even when we are helping a guest (maybe even you) promote books, movies, or other IP, including unique ideas and theories. Many of you clearly benefit from this promotion, even those of you that call and email shows, or call an Open Lines show to promote your interests. Just as The Space Show supports you, we do need and ask for your support in return.
I also want to especially thank those of you who do support the show because not only is your support making The Space Show possible for everyone, it certainly makes the show available for those who listen and like the show but for a variety of reasons do not support us. On behalf of listeners not supporting The Space Show, a special thanks goes to those who do support us for making our programming possible for all listeners everywhere. I believe our supporters deserve a big round of applause and a loud thank you from everyone, but especially from the non-supporting listeners. You are being given a great gift which I hope you appreciate. In fact, why not post a comment on the blog thanking the supporters for giving you The Space Show program. You can do so on the blog for this archived message on our website.
The Space Show is a non-profit 501C3 and California Public Benefit Corporation. Our parent 501C3 corporation is the One Giant Leap Foundation (OGLF) (www.onegiantleapfoundation.org). We understand that you have choices in making your tax deductible contributions and we certainly appreciate your including us in your gifting priorities. Contributions to The Space Show should be made through Pay Pal or if by check to One Giant Leap Foundation. Mailing and Pay Pal instructions can be found by clicking on Pay Pal on the right side of our home page, www.thespaceshow.com or by clicking on the OGLF page, www.onegiantleapfoundation.org/individuals.htm. It is important for those of you who prefer mailing a check to make your check payable to One Giant Leap Foundation, Inc. and mail it in care of me to P.O. Box 95, Tiburon, CA 94920 USA. Remember, if you pay U.S. federal taxes, you get a tax deduction for your gift. The same is true for those of you paying California taxes as we are both a federal 501C3 nonprofit corporation and a California Public Benefit Corporation. Please check with your tax adviser regarding any and all tax questions that you might have regarding potential OGLF tax deductions.
