Dr. Petra Illig was our guest today to discuss with us aviation and personal spaceflight medicine from the perspective of the spaceflight participant. Our discussion started out by asking Dr. Illig to extrapolate from her body of work on aviation passenger health to the health factors concerning the spaceflight participant.

Rosanna Sattler returned for this Space Show program to discuss spaceflight liability for companies and spaceflight participants. Our discussion started out with an understanding of the various terrestrial liability, tort, and other laws in place that will likely apply to commercial spaceflight.

We began our discussion with Dave Faulkner updating us on Rocketplane Global and what has transpired since Dave was last on the show. After a short update, Dave brought each of our guests on air discussing different aspects of the new, revised Rocketplane.

Guest (first hour): Professor Joanne Gabrynowicz was the guest for this special Space Show television show filmed on location in beautiful Cape Canaveral, Florida. We started our interview by discussing the relevance of space law as well as recent changes in this area, particularly in regards to Earth observation and remote sensing. Professor Gabrynowicz went over the original purpose of satellites for scientific research and the process by which countries agree to make relevant data freely available to countries affected by a natural disaster.
