Dr. Robert Zubrin was back on The Space Show to discuss his new book, "How To Live On Mars: A Trusty Guidebook To Surviving And Thriving On The Red Planet." This is a terrific book with lots of excellent space artwork and, in addition to providing important and useful information, it's very funny. This is a book you must have!

Broadcast 1016 (Special Edition)

Guest: Tom Hill was the guest for this Space Show program to discuss his Mars Society award winning proposal, Tethered Experiment for Mars inter-Planetary Operations Cubed (TEMPO3), a mission designed to demonstrate the generation of artificial gravity using a CubeSat satellite. Tom started the discussion with the basics pertaining to his winning this award at the recently held 2008 Mars Society Conference in Boulder, Colorado. Tom's proposal was the winner out of 30 proposals.

Brian Enke joined The Space Show as the guest for this special program. Mr. Enke discussed his new science fiction mystry book, "Shadows of Medusa." In discussing this book and its plot, issues relating to sending humans to Mars came up as the book is about three people going to Mars, but with substantial intrigue and secret agendas. In terms of talking about Mars, we discussed water, methane, and the possibility of life on Mars, the culture of risk aversion in our society, engineering, humans versus robots and lots more.
