The Space Foundation Conference

Gail Leatherwood is a long time space advocate and enthusiast. Mr. Leatherwood put together a team for World Space Week 2001. Since 2001, Gail has served as the National Space Society (NSS) Director of Projects--Chapters. He is also a “special consultant” to Joe Latrell, CEO of Beyond-Earth Enterprises (former guest on the Space Show) and is a staff writer for Space Future. Mr. Leatherwood specializes in discussing the need for spaceports, habitats, and the next generation space vehicles.

Gail Leatherwood, long time space advocate, enthusiast, and charter listener of The Space Show, was the guest for this program. Mr. Leatherwood began the discussion talking about his three part approach to developing space resources which includes spaceports, habitats, and the next generation of space vehicles. This discussion opened the door for talking about space tourism, various occupations that space commerce will open up for our economy, including many occupations and opportunities that we cannot yet identify.

Other weekday times can be morning , afternoon, or evening as you will see from the program schedule below.  When you see Wednesday or Thursday program options, it is because of my travel schedule and I am adding in special shows at the time chosen by the guest. The John Batchelor Hotel Mars segment is always Wednesday, 6:30-6:45 PM Pacific Time.  All Hotel Mars shows are archived as Space Show programs.
