Guest: Jeffrey Manber was the guest for this special program. We started our discussion with a walk back through history with the Mir Space Station, MirCorp, the Dennis Tito space tourism experience, Russian contracts, Energia, and much more. As Jeffrey was the man behind it all, listen to how doors were opened, how the Russians were willing to work with MirCorp to have a commercial business with the Mir Space Station and to fly Dennis Tito to Mir, then the ISS. You will hear about the three blocks that got in the way of MirCorp success.
Guest: Dr. Patrick Collins was our very special guest for this 1,000th Space Show program! Dr. Collins joined us from Japan as he was also the very first Space Show guest on June 13, 2001. We both went through a list of milestones, accomplishments, events, and developments in order to ascertain the level of progress made in developing space tourism over the past seven years. Dr.
Guest: Michael Potter, documentary film maker, was the guest for this show to talk with us about his new documentary film, "Orphans of Apollo: The Battle of the Mir & the New Space Revolution" (see www.orphansofapollo.com for more information).
