Guest: Dr. Erik Seedhouse. Topics: risk aversion, lunar development, leadership, space with a vision, bio ethical issues. Dr. Erik Seedhouse was our guest today to discuss his book, "Lunar Outpost: The Challenges of Establishing a Human Settlement on the Moon." As we started the program, we asked Dr. Seedhouse about Air Force Captain Joe Kittinger's parachute jump from the edge of space given that Dr. Seedhouse was with the legendary 2nd Battalion, the Parachute Regiment, the world's most elite airborne regiment.

Guest: Laurence Price. Topic: Orion CEV, human spaceflight, spaceflight safety. This is a special Space Show interview from the AIAA Space 2009 Conference held at the Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, CA. I sat down with Mr. Price for this interview in the Sheraton Hotel. Brent Sherwood was our returning guest for this Space Show program to discuss his recent White Paper which addresses various options for human spaceflight. In Segment 1, we started off the show with Brent telling us something about JPL. Did you know they have seven business lines?

Guests: Michael Leventhal, David Hosley. Topics: Space Investment Summit #6 (SIS-6), space hospitality, space tourism. Our guests started out introducing us to the SIS program and in particular, SIS-6 with its new panel format and specific focus on space hospitality, tourism, and entertainment. Both Michael and Dave described the panels and this new format in detail and to me, it appears to be a real winner. Check it out.

Patrick Beatty and David Shiga were the guests for this program originating from Grand Forks, ND and focusing on X Prize Cup and David's "breaking news" interview at Bigelow Aerospace. Please note that this program has audio distortion and problems that cannot be cleared. The audio issues stem from the studio I used in Grand Forks and the fact that Patrick had to use a less than adequate public telephone for the interview.
