The Space Foundation Conference

Feedback: What did you think of this show?:

Ann Parson returned for this Friday morning Space Show program to provide us with updates on stem cell research and issues. In addition to talking about stem cell work, many questions were related to space and its easy to see the overlap with stem cell progress and space medicine issues. Radiation for example, bone loss, and more. In addition, Ann spelled out very clearly the journey from stem cells in the test tube to a commercial medical product, a journet not unlike the journet science, techology, and engineering concepts and potential products must take prior to entering commercial service. For those wanting to know about various stem cell trials, Ann suggests that for instituting a search, use "stem cells" and whatever disorder at the URL, http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/. To send comments or additional questions to Ann Parson, do so through me at drspace@thespaceshow.com and I will be sure to forward the comments to her.
