Brian Feeney, team leader for the da Vinci Project was the special guest on this edition of The Space Show. Please listen to the last ten minutes of this program as Brian can use some help for a very specific product for his entry in the X-Prize. If you can help him, contact him through his website at www.davinciproject.com. During the program, Brian explained the origins of the da Vinci Project, its unique technical and engineering attributes and characteristics, as well as its flight plan for winning the X-Prize. As the pilot for his craft, he discussed the training, safety equipment and more. Brian also attended the June 21, 2004 Space Ship One test flight in Mojave and speaks very highly of his competitors in the United States and around the world. Mr. Feeney also described the Canadian process of getting a launch license, the environmental concerns, and the paperwork. He spoke about the future commercial value of his project and what his dreams and aspirations are for his project, his team, and for everyone who has help with the da Vinci Project. When asked what the highlight of the project had been so far, he stated it was the people. This is a fascinating programming and Brian Feeney is a man to role model for leading the way to a space-faring world. The Space Show wishes Brian and all his team members great luck and God Speed with their coming X-Prize flight.
