We welcomed back both Rand Simberg and Bill Simon for this two segment 1 hour 52 minute discussion regarding the Apollo 11 ceremony known as Evoloterra (www.evoloterra.com). Both segments of the program focused on the Evoloterra story which depicted what happened over centuries of time that enable Apollo 11. Rand and Bill talked about this at length in both segments in addition to taking listener questions which were largely focused on the relevance of both Evoloterra and Apollo 11 today. Many side topics of discussion came up but our program today remained on focus for Apollo 11 and the ceremony as much as possible. One of the themes that was repeated throughout the show was that ability to stand on the shoulders of those that came earlier in order to be able to go to the Moon. We did much extrapolation to NewSpace and today's entrepreneurs standing on the shoulders of earlier giants to be able to carry on with their businesses. What do you think about this? Let us know by posting on the blog.
Throughout the discussion our guests pointed out how times had changed since they created Evoloterra but the message and importance was the same. They addressed structural and creative issues around Evoloterra and discussed was to spread the message today and for the future. Listeners contributed ideas for spreading the message into the future as did I.
We want to hear your comments and we would like for every one listening to do the ceremony and let us know your experience with it. We even suggested taking a video of your ceremony and put it up on YouTube.
Please post your comments/questions for Rand and Bill on TSS blog for this show. You can reach Rand and Bill through me if you want to be in direct contact with them about Evoloterra. Toward the end of the program, Bill suggested sending your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
