The Space Show Needs Your Help. Please Donate Now
The Space Show works hard to provide a non-partisan, educational platform for providing quality space education both within the space community and the general population both in the U.S. and around the world. We do this through live personal interviews with those making contributions to space through their walks of life, work, advocacy, and by other means. Space Show annual campaigns fund Space Show activities for the coming year. The Space Show is part of the nonprofit 501C3 One Giant Leap Foundation, a space educational organization. Donors get a tax deduction if they pay federal taxes. Depending on where they live, the might also get a state tax deduction for their gift.
Here is how to donate to The Space Show: PayPal at the top of our home page, www.thespaceshow.com. The PayPal direct link is www.paypal.com/paypalme/thespaceshow. Within the U.S., you can use Zelle Quick Pay through your bank. There are no fees with Zelle. The One Giant Leap Foundation bank is Chase. Use the email address, email@example.com. For checks, make it payable to One Giant Leap Foundation and mail it to P.O. Box 95, Tiburon, CA 94920.
I often wonder and I bet you do as well just what kind of world we would be living in without having explored space and in the process finding so many ways to use space to benefit us here on Earth. What would our lives be like without the knowledge that we have earned through our many space activities and from space organizations, governments, entrepreneurs, and leaders from around the world? Here at The Space Show, we like to think we are helping to spread the educational word with facts as to the value and benefits from space and why we need to do more to ensure a safe, healthy and prosperous future for all on spaceship Earth
This brings us to the question of why this letter and why are you getting it? Simply put, The Space Show needs your support and the support of people just like you to help us with our program for the coming year. Not unlike your favorite charity or museum, our overhead continues month after month as we bring you new guests, ideas, information, facts, and above all, with our unique format, enable you to participate with the guests in all programming. Bringing you guests and interesting programming is our form of overhead, along with the hard items like computers, power, internet, and such. Its costly so we ask you to help us by donating to The Space Show/One Giant Leap Foundation.
The Space Show, both live and with archives, has something for everyone and anyone caring about what goes on in our world and wanting to make a better future for family, friends and really for all of us. Our website and archives are open, non-denominational, non-judgmental, non-partisan and always free and accessible to all who seek answers. Disagreement is welcome. Perspective challenges are encouraged. Free speech rules with the only requirement being civility. We welcome your opinions. The more diverse, the better.
Please help us make sure everyone interested in the future, in critical thinking, in being able to express their thoughts without retribution, find out about The Space Show and listen in? Can you help us spread the word as to why space is so important and valuable for humanity's future? You help us do this with your donation to The Space Show.
As a nonprofit organization we depend on generous donations from listeners like you. If the Space Show has brought value into your life this year, will you show your appreciation with a tax-deductible donation?
Making a gift takes only a few minutes, and you’ll know that you’re bringing value to both humanity in the present and in the future as Space Show programs and interviews will live on as part of the history of how we improved.
Thank you for listening and participating in our shows. Above all, thank you for financially supporting The Space Show for the past twenty years. We still need your support heading into our 21st year so stay with us, please.
