John Batchelor and I welcomed back Dr. Harold Connolly back to Hotel Mars to discuss updates for both Bennu along with Ryugu as lots has been happening with both missions. We talked about each mission and their sample return plans.  In addition, we talked about the large crater created on Ryugu as a result of the Hayabusa2 spacecraft impact.  As for Bennu, we discussed the Checkpoint test rehearsal for the sample return process to take place later this year.  Other topics included asteroid gravity, surprises discovered on both asteroids compared to original scientific expectations and more.  This was a two segment discussion so do listen for the additional topics we talked about respective to each mission.
