John Batchelor and I welcomed back Dr. Marc Rayman for important news and discovery update information on Ceres and the Dawn Mission. Some of the topics we discussed included the latest on impacts and accumulation of debris over millions of years making Ceres into a sort of sponge for impact material. We also discussed the latest theories on the bright spots, including the possibility of salt and what that may mean for Ceres development and science. I asked Marc general science questions and what it would take to have definitive answers to many of the Ceres mysteries. Near the end, John talked about Vesta and how it might compare to Earth in contrast to how Ceres might compare to Earth. Please post your comments/questions on TSS blog above. You can email Mr. Batchelor or Dr. Rayman through me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
