John Batchelor and I welcomed Dr. Patryk Sofia Lykawa to the program to discuss his work focusing on predicting distant Earth-like planets in the Kuiper Belt. His latest reviewed paper (Open Source) is titled "Is There an Earth-like Planet in the Distant Kuiper Belt?" During our two-segment program, Patryk explained his model which he says needs more work. His predictions of Earth-like planets were mathematical and theoretical, but the evidence shows that something is perturbing orbits, thus possibly several very small Earth-like planets in the region. During our interview, our guest explained TNO's and TSO's along with why his research which focuses on the TNO's. He talked about four kinds that have been detected and he explained each type to us. This included the high orbital TNO, the extreme orbit TNO and the high stable orbit TNO. John asked him about the Planet 9 controversy so you will hear him address that in his discussion. He talked about the need for wide scale surveys and the problems searching for them with Hubble and JWST. If you download and read his paper, note that it is very mathematical.
