John Batchelor and I welcomed back Chris Carberry to discuss his new book "Alcohol in Space." Chris talked about known alcohol usage in space, on the ISS, rules and regulations, a Mars beer and more. We then switched the topic to 2020 being a big Mars year with the Mars 2020 mission, the ESA ExoMars mission, a UAE Mars mission and the Chinese plans for Mars this year. Chris talked about all of these missions, plus the need to return to the Moon to help enable our going to Mars. John asked Chris what he thought of the current administration support for a human Mars mission. Chris also talked about the respected Explore Mars event, Humans2Mars coming up in a few months.
