John Batchelor and I welcomed Steve Wolfe of The Beyond Earth Institute to discuss space solar power (SSP) and their project "Catching the Sun: A National Strategy for Space Solar Power.  Steve explained SSP, why it is about 10X more abundant in energy than ground based solar, why it is the ultimate green fuel, and more. He talked about their plan, the Catching the Sun project, plus John and I asked questions throughout this single segment program.  Steve was asked about the National Space Council (NSP) and SSP.  Our guest responded with their outreach plans to the vice president who runs the NSC.  Also discussed were SSP challenging economics and why they were now coming into sight for doable commercialization.
