
Wes Oleszewski is a research historian, author, cartoonist, professional aviator and life-long spaceflight devotee. As a writer he has composed and has seen published 14 maritime history books, with the 15th book currently in work. He has also authored 5 spaceflight history CDs and is the author of the world’s only aerospace editorial cartoon strip- Klyde Morris. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Science from the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and is a former airline captain. Currently, Wes is the Spaceflight Analyst for the Aero-News Network where he adds a historian’s perspective along with an editorial analysis of current events in spaceflight. Wes was a part of the three man press team that had exclusive access to cover the X-Prize flights in 2004. He has also covered the Shuttle, Delta IV, Falcon 9 and Ares IX launches for the Aero-News Network. Wes previously appeared on “The Space Show” back in 2003.
