Sara Jennings is the NewSpace 2014 Conference Chair. In addition, Sara Jennings currently works for XPRIZE working with the Prize Development team designing prizes and running events as well as supporting VP of prizes Eileen Bartholomew. Prior to joining XPRIZE, Mrs. Jennings worked for the Challenger Space Center where she designed and taught summer camp science curriculum and coordinated the Honeywell Fiesta Bowl Aerospace Challenge. She also ran the NASCAR meets NASA, Night Rover Invention Experience where she developed a program for 1,200 5-6th graders to design and build solar powered rovers. Mrs. Jennings has also worked at Marketwired as a product specialist in client care, as a consulting assistant at Aquarius Group and a Conference Chair for the annual NewSpace Conference. Mrs. Jennings received a dual B.A. degree in Linguistics and Communications from the University of Arizona. She holds a level 2 certification for high powered rocketry, is an avid stargazer, and is on the board for the Space Frontier Foundation, a non-profit seeking to further develop space.
