Robert Lancaster

Lancaster is a life-long space exploration advocate and has been involved with several organizations since 1999 when he wrote two articles dealing with off-world law enforcement and security for the Artemis Society Project. This led him to the Space Frontier Foundation "Return to the Moon" conferences starting in 2004 where he met our mutual friend Rick Tumlinson. With Rick, Bob and several others now run the Texas Space Alliance, a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to making Texas the world's leading "Space State". Bob has applied his unique background, both as a career military officer and civilian police officer, to the issue of human space exploration and settlement. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Bob is retiring from the Air Force after a career in their Security Forces (Military Police). Bob looks forward to continuing his work in the law enforcement and security field with a focus on assisting the emerging commercial spaceflight industry.
