Peter Montgomery is the Deputy Director of AIAA’s Space and Missile Group, and Technical Program Chairman of the AIAA SPACE 2010 Conference & Exhibition. Montgomery is currently Deputy Branch Manager of Space and Missile Testing for the Jacobs Engineering Services Aerospace Testing Alliance contract at Tennessee’s Arnold Air Force Base. His previous positions have included Space Testing Manager, Space Materials Testing Manager, and Space Material Programs Manage among others. Montgomery is the former chair of the AIAA’s Space Transportation Technical Committee, and is the current Executive Secretary of AIAA’s Hypersonic Technologies and Aerospace Planes Program Committee. Additionally, Montgomery is the former vice-chair of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Aircraft Engine Technical Committee. Montgomery is an AIAA Associate Fellow, and a past recipient of the Arnold Engineering Development Center’s Customer Service Excellence Award and the Center’s Team Excellence Award.
