Paul Smith

Major Paul Smith, US Army retired, is the author of his new book, “Reading the Enemy's Mind : Inside Star Gate--America's Psychic Espionage Program.” Smith is a retired Army intelligence officer and Operation Desert Storm veteran, spent seven years in the Department of Defense's remote-viewing program, serving as operational remote viewer, theory instructor and trainer, security officer, and unit historian. Smith has a B.A. in Middle Eastern studies from Brigham Young University, and an M.S. in Strategic Intelligence (Middle East emphasis) from the Defense Intelligence College, and is a doctoral candidate in philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. He is president of Remote Viewing Instructional Services, Inc. , and vice president of the nonprofit International Remote Viewing Association. Paul Smith is the first of a two part very special remote viewing approach to commercial space development and our becoming a space-faring nation and civilization. Smith was also an Arab language expert in his military and intelligence positions, and he was a tactical intelligence officer with the 101st Airborne unit in Desert Storm.

Paul Smith returned to The Space Show to discuss his new book, "Reading the Enemy's Mind: Inside Star Gate--America's Psychic Espionage Program", and to share his thoughts with us on how remote viewing can be used to facilitate our becoming space-faring. Mr. Smith explained the history and nature of remote viewing and spoke openly about its capabilities, advantages, and limitations. In response to listener questions, he explained how it could be used to help project the winning companies in the or entrepreneurial space community.
