Nancy Conrad

Ms. Conrad's extensive accomplishments as an entrepreneur, innovator and philanthropist have had great influence on the business, science, medicine, and the non-profit industries. Ms. Conrad is a champion of space education and space commercialization. In the non-profit world, her unique understanding of both the commercial and the government aspects of space travel have led her to create competitions that will propel the next generation of scientists, engineers and mathematicians to consider the challenges of space travel in new and dynamic ways. Ms. Conrad is the coauthor of "Rocketman", a biography of her late husband Pete Conrad. This book portrays the history of manned spaceflight as well as the very personal story of one man's journey to the moon and beyond. Professional affiliations include the President's Circle of the National Academy of Sciences, Member of the Board of Directors of Universal Spacelines, Former Member of the Board of Directors of California Air and Space Museum NASA Ames, and member of Explorer's Club.
