John Oehler

John Oehler is a multiple award-winning author of thriller/suspense novels. Formerly an exploration geologist, he has worked in dozens of countries around the world and now combines those experiences with his love of history and the arts to create stories that leave readers asking, “Could this really happen?” John lives in Houston with his wife, Dorothy, a member of the Mars Science Team that is acquiring and analyzing data from NASA’s Curiosity rover. They share their lives with Elfie, an Old English Sheepdog who should have been named Nitro.
