Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey L Smith turned his lifelong passion for space into a career as a rocket propulsion engineer. For the past 8 years, he has worked in the aerospace and defense industry, with a focus on launch and in-space propulsion systems. He graduated from from Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. While working full-time, Jeffrey continued to pursue his love of space and he received his Masters of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the University of Southern California. When not working, Jeffrey enjoys flying and instructing in gliders and airplanes with his wife Hayley. Jeffrey grew up in Livermore, California but now calls Tucson, Arizona home.
