
Jason Andrews co-founded Andrews Space in July 1999 to be a catalyst in the commercialization, exploration and development of space. Andrews Space, Inc. is a best value integrator of aerospace systems, developer of advanced products and technologies, and provider of innovative solutions and technical services. Mr Andrews leads the company's daily operations as President and CEO and has been responsible for averaging over 30% annual growth over the Company’s 10 year history while moving into new markets and expanding the company's core competencies. Mr. Andrews leads the strategy development for the company and manages all day-to-day operations, including Profit & Loss responsibility. In 2009 Mr Andrews started a second company, Spaceflight Services, to provide routine low cost access to space for small and secondary payloads. Spaceflight is currently offering suborbital and orbital space access on commercial launch vehicles with flight opportunities starting in 2011. Spaceflight is a part of the Rocket City Space Pioneer Google Lunar X-Prize Team and is brokering secondary payload rides to Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit and Low Lunar Orbit in 2014 as part of this effort. Prior to co-founding Andrews Space, Mr. Andrews worked at Kistler Aerospace Corporation (1995 to 1998) where he held a range of positions including K-1 Vehicle Two Project Manager and Design Integration Manager. Mr. Andrews holds a BS degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Washington and was a “40 Under 40” honoree by the Puget Sound Business journal in 2006.
