He is the Founder and Director of Space Angels Network, a national group of accredited investors focused on early-stage aerospace ventures. He was previously the Founder and Chairman of the International Association of Space Entrepreneurs, an online community focused on promoting global entrepreneurship in space ventures, which was recently transferred to the Space Frontier Foundation for ongoing growth. Guillermo's career outside of exploration has spanned over twelve years in leadership roles with various early stage technology ventures in Silicon Valley and the Washington DC area, as well as an active duty tour in the United States Marine Corps. He earned an A.B. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
