Gary Oleson is an aerospace engineer who writes frequently on space engineering, policy and strategy, and especially the commercial development of space. Mr. Oleson has more than 30-years diverse experience in space systems engineering and strategy, and previously worked for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the U.S. Department of Energy. He is a graduate of Princeton University with an M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mr. Oleson is a recipient of the Space Station Freedom Award of Merit from NASA and the Space Pioneer Award from the National Space Society. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Space Frontier Foundation and the Alliance for Space Development.
