Dr. Tiffany Kataria

Tiffany Kataria is scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA, having received her PhD in Planetary Sciences from the University of Arizona.  Her expertise lies in the atmospheric dynamics of exoplanetary and planetary atmospheres.  She uses weather models, like the ones we use to predict short-term weather and long-term climate on Earth, to understand the weather processes on these exotic worlds.  In particular, she is most interested in how these models can be used to directly inform and interpret observations of exoplanet atmospheres collected from the ground and from space.  [Tiffany is also a native Long Islander and a longtime Yankees fan.]
