Donald A. Beattie

Donald Beattie has been a jet pilot, a geologist in Columbia, a NASA researcher and manager, and a consultant for both government and private industry. He is the author of many articles in professional journals and three books, History and Overview of Solar Heat Technology, MIT Press; Taking Science to the Moon, The Johns Hopkins University Press; and ISSCapades: The Crippling of America's Space Program, Apogee Books. He lives in Northeast Florida with his wife Anne, where he stays busy in local affairs, lecturing and visiting his grandchildren.
