David Fuller is an amateur astronomer and dark sky advocate. He has written for both local-Chicago area newspapers and magazines, encouraging people to "see what's up" in the night sky despite light pollution, while educating them about how to use smarter lighting themselves. Currently hosting the "Eyes on the Sky" weekly video series, David continues to encourage beginners and veteran stargazers alike to find and see objects in the night sky naked eye, with binoculars and/or small telescopes despite light pollution, while always advocating for reducing unnecessary light. His website, eyesonethesky.com, includes his weekly videos, informational videos about the basics of telescopes and stargazing, blog, beginner star charts and more. An avid stargazer for 30 years, David also owns over a dozen telescopes and enjoys making his own tripods and other astronomical equipment when possible.
