
David Bullock is Editor-in-Chief of Space Lifestyle Magazine, and President of the company that owns SLM, the Grand Forks, North Dakota based New Forks, LLC. As a member of the National Association of Science Writers, Bullock started chasing space and science in 2004, but began a career in media with as the very first intern at ABCNEWS.com in his hometown of New York City. He stayed on as an HTML coder, but left ABCNEWS, just before the dot-com bubble burst in 2000. Bullock then worked for several other traditional media sources in New York, but as a coder on the dot-com side of each company. He started writing again with Designer Greetings, a Staten Island based greeting card company. Bullock moved to North Dakota in 2004 and has worked for The Grand Forks Herald as a science writer and wrote press releases for the University of North Dakota’s Media Relations Department. A graduate of Staten Island’s Tottenville High School Classics Institute Program, Bullock got his first exposure to magazine style with his high school year book. Later, he would graduate from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, as a Political Science major with a concentration in International Relations. Currently, he is a student at the University of North Dakota’s Space Studies Program, in which he is a candidate for a masters degree.
