
Dave Dressler is the Co-Chair for ISDC 2018 and the Program Chair for ISDC 2016. He was also the Assistant Program Chair and Director of main room operations for ISDC 2015. He was the ISDC Chair for 2013. Dave has supported technology in education since 1989, and is currently Technology Manager for the San Diego County Career Technical Education / Regional Occupational Program (ROP). Dave is strongly advocating manned space exploration to the planets and beyond (to Mars by 2025). Inspired by space programs and great works of science fiction, Dave supports, organizes and participates in outreach activities such as conferences, science fairs and speaker sessions. He serves on the board of the San Diego Science Alliance and Ocean STEM. Dave is always looking for ways to bring space science to the community and inspire the next generation of space explorers. Space Advocacy - Director, SDSpace.org, NSS and Planetary Society Member 1991-present Chair for International Space Development Conference 2013 in San Diego. Participated at ISDC 2006 (lead Mojave Spaceport tour), 2010, 2011 and ISDC 2012 promoting ISDC 2013. Founding Director and program manager for San Diego Space Society (since 2007). Organized events for SD Space such as the San Diego Science Festival, SpaceUp, Yuri's Night, education outreach, several speaker programs and Sally Ride Science. Presented T minus 5 sessions on the Space Elevator and Space beer. MBA from California State University, San Marcos, 1998, BSBA from San Diego State University, 1991. Yuri Gagarin unknowingly celebrated Dave's second birthday by orbiting the Earth on April 12, 1961.
